Pricing Plans

Features

Each pricing plans has different usage limits represented as (x) below.

Unlimited file uploads

Unlike with other apps you will never be limited by the amount of file uploads. Your customers will always be able to upload any number of files without any limitations.

Max (x) upload file size

The maximum file size of a single file that can be uploaded by your customers.

File uploads stored for 30 days / (x) Archive space

On the free plan, uploaded files will be stored for 30 days, after that the files will be deleted.

On all of the paid plans the file uploads that were used in an order will get archived automatically. You also have the ability to manually archive or delete files from the archive.

To learn more visit the docs about File archiving.

(x) uploads linked to orders

If an order is placed that contains files uploaded through the app, the app automatically links the order number on each of the uploaded files.

When uploads are linked to orders you can easily search them in the app via the order number and download all the files from an order.

To learn more visit the docs about Downloading ordered files.

Usage limits

The usage limit of your plan — the (x) uploads linked to orders described above — is counted per month. You can see your current usage and the limit of your plan on the Plans page inside the app.

When the limit is checked

The limit is checked on the 1st of every month for the month that just ended. It is not tied to the date you installed the app or to your Shopify billing date.

During the month the limit can be exceeded and the app keeps working normally. Nothing is blocked while the month is running.

If you exceeded the limit

If the limit was exceeded in the month that just ended, you get a grace period rather than an immediate stop:

  • On the 1st you receive an email telling you the limit of your plan was exceeded.
  • Three days later a second reminder is sent if you have not upgraded.
  • Ten days after the first email, on the 11th, the app stops working in your store if you still have not upgraded.

Upgrading to a higher plan at any point during those ten days keeps everything running and resets the limit.

How the limit resets

  • If you stayed inside the limit, it resets automatically on the 1st of the month. There is nothing to do.
  • If you exceeded the limit, an upgrade is required to reset it.

Extensions are billed separately

Extensions such as Editor or Convert have their own monthly price on top of your plan. They can be active while you are still on the free plan, so a charge on your Shopify invoice does not necessarily mean you are on a paid plan.

You can see which extensions are enabled, and remove the ones you do not use, on the Plans page. When you upgrade, the total shown is the plan price plus every enabled extension.

Two charges on one invoice

If your Shopify invoice appears to charge you twice for the app in the same month, check the date ranges shown next to each line item on the invoice PDF.

All app charges are handled by Shopify, not by us. Shopify sometimes bills two consecutive periods on the same invoice, for example one line covering 17 May to 16 June and a second covering 17 June to 16 July. The two lines are two different months, not the same month billed twice, and your next invoice picks up from the end of the later range.

The app only ever requests the monthly charge once. Everything else, including when the invoice is issued, which periods it covers, and proration when you change plans, is handled by Shopify.

If the date ranges genuinely overlap, that is a real double charge. Contact support with the invoice and we will refund it as soon as possible.

Cancelling or downgrading your plan

There is no separate cancellation or contract to end, the app billing runs through Shopify, so changing or cancelling your subscription is done from the app's Plans page.

  • To move to the free plan: open the app, go to the Plans page and select the Free plan. This cancels the paid subscription. The app keeps working with the free plan's limits.
  • To stop using the app entirely: uninstall it. Uninstalling also cancels the subscription, so you do not need to downgrade first.
  • To remove a paid extension but keep your plan: open the Plans page, scroll to the Extensions section and remove the extension there. This is self service, you do not need to contact support. The extension can be added again at any time.

I downgraded but I was still charged

Charges that accrued on your previous plan during the running billing cycle are still billed by Shopify after you switch, so it is normal to see one more charge for the plan you just left. It is not a new subscription and it does not repeat.

If the charge is recurring rather than a single final one, an enabled extension is the usual reason, see Extensions are billed separately above.

If the charge does not match either of those, contact support with the invoice, we will offer refunds if appropriate.
