How can I let customers switch between different gallery views?

If your live preview has more than one view (for example front and back), you can show buttons that let customers switch between them. The buttons stay in sync with the gallery.

The active button always matches the view that is showing.


Add option: View switch

  1. Open your options configuration and add a new option.
  2. Set the option type to View switch

By default, the option shows one button for every view of your live preview.

Choose which views to show

Use Values to control the buttons:

  • Leave the values empty to show a button for every preview view.
  • Add values to show only some views, change their order, or set your own button labels.

Switch views automatically with tabs

If you show options in steps (tabs), the preview can follow the tabs automatically:

  1. Open the Tabs option and go to its settings.
  2. Turn on Switch preview view.

When a customer opens a tab, the preview shows the first view that has layers using an option from that tab. For example, opening a "Back" tab with back text options jumps to the back view. The setting is off by default.
