How can I restore a previous version of my configuration?

The options configuration editor keeps a history of your recent changes in your browser storage. If you have accidentally deleted options or live preview layers, or a configuration no longer looks the way it did, you can roll it back to an earlier state without rebuilding it.

Restoring a version

  • Open the configuration you want to restore in the app.
  • In the configuration editor, on the top right, click on the clock icon to open the version history.
  • Pick the point in time you want to go back to and restore it.

The configuration returns to how it looked at that moment, including the live preview layers and their settings.

Important: versions are stored in your browser

Version history is kept locally in the browser you were working in. This means the history is tied to that browser on that device: if you edited a configuration on your laptop, you will not see those versions when you open the app on another computer.

Backing up your configurations

The best way to create a backup is to duplicate the configuration before you start making large changes. You can do this from the configuration list by clicking the Duplicate button. We recommend naming the configuration with a date or version number so you can easily identify it later.

Restoring a deleted configuration

If you accidentally delete a configuration, you can contact support within 3 days to request a restore. After 3 days, the configuration is permanently deleted and can only be recovered from a backup.
