B2B Discount Combinations

B2B wholesale discounts are automatic app discounts that belong to the Shopify Product discount class.

They apply to individual line items (products/variants) in the cart based on the configured B2B Discount or Price list.

Settings

You can configure which discount types are allowed to combine with B2B wholesale discounts in the app under Settings > Discount settings. The available options are:

Changes are synced to Shopify automatically when saved.

Combination scenarios for B2B product discounts

B2B + Other Product Discounts

  • Both discounts must have "Combine with product discounts" enabled
  • If the discounts target different line items, both apply to their respective items
  • If two product discounts target the same line item, only the best discount is applied
  • If combination is not allowed, only the best discount applies

B2B + Order Discounts

  • The B2B discount must have "Combine with order discounts" enabled
  • The order discount must allow combining with product discounts
  • The B2B discount reduces line item prices first, then the order discount applies to the reduced subtotal

B2B + Shipping Discounts

  • The B2B discount must have "Combine with shipping discounts" enabled
  • The shipping discount must allow combining with product discounts
  • These are independent — product prices and shipping costs are discounted separately
